(More customer reviews)This Barbell Pad does the trick.It's soft and padded enough for at least 40lbs on your back.I haven't tried carrying more so I couldn't tell you if it would work for 100lbs or more, but the price was reasonable so I would check it out for yourself. Also, it's small enough to carry in your bag; which is very convenient!
